1 Acceptance of Terms

By visiting, creating an account, or using any part of the Service (including creating or exporting compositions), you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the Effective Date above when we do. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

2 User Accounts

The Service may allow you to sign in using Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure.

Authentication and account management may be provided through Firebase (including Firebase Authentication). Your compositions may be stored and synced using Firebase/Google Cloud services.

• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us promptly.
• We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or your use poses security, legal, or operational risk.

3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, accounts, or systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls of the Service.
• Upload, store, transmit, or share content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or abusive.
• Use the Service to distribute malware, phish, spam, or conduct fraudulent activity.
• Use automated scripts/bots to scrape or abuse the Service except where explicitly permitted.

4 Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the compositions and content you create using the Service ("User Content"). These Terms do not transfer ownership of your User Content to us.

To operate features like cloud saving, syncing across devices, and PDF export, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.

The Service itself (including its software, design, and branding) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

5 Subscriptions & Billing

Tabla I/O offers a Free tier and a Pro subscription plan at ₹299/month or ₹2,499/year. Payments are processed via Razorpay. By subscribing, you agree to recurring billing at the selected interval. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial periods unless required by applicable law. Tabla I/O reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.

6 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that cloud sync, storage, or exports will always work as intended. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important work.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000 if you paid nothing.

8 Governing Law (India)

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply.
